Dutch Artworks Ensemble

DPP07DD09120D1608 0467  Boysen (Mozart 2015)

the Dutch ArtWorks ensemble is very excited to be playing the openingconcert of the Kamerklanken Festival in Den Bosch, sunday 25th September 2016!

The Dutch ArtWorks ensemble is a sparkling and lively group whose core consists of three spirited Dutch ladies. Playing on historical instruments, the musicians convincingly convey their love of baroque music. Short explanations of the music being performed are made during concerts, revealing the secrets of baroque music’s expressivity. This places the compositions into perspective, creating a valuable listening experience for the audience.

The musicians studied at the Conservatories of The Hague and/or Utrecht where they received a broad and thorough education from distinguished musicians in the field of historical performance, such as: Jacques Ogg, Donna Agrell, Wouter Verschuren and Alberto Grazzi, Heiko ter Schegget, Frank de Bruine, Antoinette Lohmann, Lucia Swarts and Jaap ter Linden.
Dutch Artworks boasts experienced musicians whose expertise extends to the fields of solo, chamber and orchestral music performance. They have performed internationally with groups such as: the Orchestra of the 18th Century, Musica Amphion, Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, European Union Baroque Orchestra, Nederlandse Bach Vereniging, Anima Eterna, Residentie Bachorkest, La Ritirata and the Arcade Ensemble.
